Slated
for Grand opening in October 2005, RAWI-WARIN RESORT &
SPA, is sure to make a large impact on the island of Koh
Lanta / Krabi. It will house 180 rooms and villas, ranging
from Sea view Deluxe, to the spacious Sunset Villas, along
with 2 2-Bedroom Villas with private swimming pool.
Located
on Lanta Yai Island , the RAWI-WARIN RESORT & SPA,
will gear itself for the active urbanites, who would like
a relaxing visit to one of Thailand's most beautiful islands.
The central location of the resort also offers easy access
to all areas of the islands, and is extremely accessible
to a variety of amenities and entertainment choices around
the island.
RAWI-WARIN
RESORT & SPA will have its own Pier, where guests
who fly into the newly renovated Krabi Airport ( scheduled
for December 2005 opening ), will take a short ride to the
Pier, before experiencing one of Rawi-Warin's six private
junk boats ( accommodating 30 - 50 passengers ) and powered
by twin outboard engines ( traveling 15 - 20 knots per hour
), for a brief ride ( 40 minutes ) to the resort's pier.
We will also have available 2 high powered speed boats for
use, if needed. Special island excursions, and romantic
dinner cruises will be arranged by the hotel on a weekly
basis.
Here at RAWI-WARIN RESORT & SPA, all guests will
be treated to a full facility resort, with large swimming
pier ( for guests to swim in the ocean ), large infinity
edge swimming pool near the beach with children's wading
pool, a separate lap swimming pool, and a stunning cliff
top pool for the guests who would want a beautiful view
of the whole of Lanta island ( 40 meters high ). The whole
resort will exhibit a natural feeling highlighting the 12,000
trees strategically planted, as well the large pond and
plentiful waterways ( 8500 sq m ) winding throughout the
resort to provide for a very relaxing atmosphere indeed.
We
have also provided more beach swimming for our guests in
our nearby beach property at Pra Ae, Lanta's most beautiful
and longest stretch of white sand on the island. We have
built some shady salas, as well as including 20 sun chairs
for sun lovers to bask in the sun all day long. Rawi-Warin
will provide complimentary round trip transfer (15 minutes)
for all guests. Make reservations with the Reception counter
and check on transfer times. Food and drinks will be available
for sale, or a picnic basket could be organized, with a
full set of picnic ware for a fun-filled day's outing.
Accomodations
within the resort will include Sea view Deluxe rooms ( all
sea view rooms ), Sunset Villas ( along the beach ), Pool
Villas ( poolside ) with signature Turtleback roof, and
2 Bedroom suites with private swimming pools. Every room
is guaranteed to have a view of the ocean, both at sea level,
and along the cliffs.
Included
among our accommodations are 39 secluded cottages and villas
which are located on the highest point of the resort, with
a panoramic view of Koh Lanta, and surrounding islands. Named
as RAWI-WARIN RESORT VILLAGE, these secluded rooms
will be for the discerning guests who would like to keep their
privacy to a maximum. Cliff top swimming pool with stunning
view, butler service, daily breakfast served by the swimming
pool, and privately cooked meals by our Executive Chef and
staff, are some of the benefits to ensure total privacy for
you and loved ones. Obviously, the rest of the resort would
be available and the variety of entertainment facilities is
sure to attract our VIP guests from the RESORT VILLAGE.
Facilities
within the resort will include The Golden Pond, all day
dining restaurant; The Watermark, seafood terrace restaurant;
The Stream, beachside restaurant; The Loch Bar, trendy bar
serving full cocktails / cigars / selected wines; in house
movie complex ( seating 15-20 persons ) with complete surround
system; Library ( books , DVDs, and CDs available ); and
Music room with state of art system for listening to selected
music CDs. Our guest activities / recreational center will
also include the fully equipped Fitness Centre, and a variety
of water sports equipment, 2 tennis courts, beach volleyball,
and a basketball court for a half court game of hoops.
Besides
these outlets, RAWI-WARIN RESORT & SPA, will
also include two outlets on roadside to accommodate many
of the visitors in Koh Lanta, AUNTIE MAE'S / Bakery and
croissants, freshly made on daily basis throughout the day,
and MO JO'S / Sports Bar & Grill offering a variety
of steaks, salad bar, burgers, ribs, and seafood dishes,
while watching exciting live and taped Sports telecasts
on the big screen, as well as ice-cold draft beer, and a
good variety of international beers as well.
Located
in the resort is our WARIN SPA facility, with 7 private
inside spa treatments rooms, 1 large suite , and 2 outside
salas, amidst a natural setting with lagoon, waterfalls,
and heavy foliage.
Overall,
the RAWI-WARIN RESORT & SPA, is a resort for
the active lifestyle of modern day individual and family,
wanting a relaxing time, and chilling out with many of the
