Many of the plants are indigenous of the island, yet many others are not usually found here and were imported from several countries throughout Asia. Among these gardens is the resort's own vegetable, herb and spice garden used in fresh preparation of the finest Thai cuisine, Ice cream and teas served on Koh Samui.

The resort is bordered on one side by one of the island's finest beaches, dotted with countless coconut palms, some more than 50 years old. It's luxurious 59 Villas and 12 Equatorial Duplex Suites are decorated with traditional Thai motif. All feature sitting rooms, bedrooms luxurious large bathrooms and private terraces. Surly our most frequented and popular venue, with tables and sun beds scattered among the many coconut palms that shade's our spectacular beach. The bar serves a fabulous selection for snack meals and tropical cocktails to compliment your island experience. The beach bar is the perfect place to enjoy a sun downer, followed with our seafood BBQ.

With its scenic garden setting and outdoor dining option the restaurant provides for the ideal breakfast venue. The restaurant offers a scrumptious buffet, boasting with an array of continental and Asia specialties.

Location

At the northern tip of the island within easy access of the island's scenic attractions, it is situated in between the town of Nathon, Koh Samui's commercial center and Chaweng beach, the bustling tourist hub. These towns are located approximately 20 minutes by taxi or private car either way from the Santiburi Dusit Resort. Bohput or " Fisherman's village " among the oldest of Koh Samui's fishing hamlets stretching along the coastline is some 10 minutes drive from the resort, and is a favourite among visitors for dining out. Koh Phangan famous for its regular moon parties is a short boat ride across from the resort. Many favored diving spots are within easy reach and sailing arrangements can be made directly with the resort for a fee. Regular sailings are usually available from the main land at Surat Thani City or ferry from Don Sak pier. Sailing time is approximately two to three hours with disembarkation in Nathon. Samui airport is a 15-minute drive from the resort. Samui can be reached via regular scheduled direct flights from Bangkok, Pattaya, Hua Hin, Phuket and Singapore.
